The PTA is a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child.

School Bus & Children

Gwinnett’s curriculum for grades K–12 is called the Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) and is aligned to the state-adopted Georgia Standards of Excellence in Language Arts (K-5) and Mathematics (K-5). The condensed format provides an overview of each AKS curriculum area for your student's grade level, as well as information about special programs, promotion requirements, and grade-level assessments.
